Hofner Limited Edition 1961 Reissue H500/1 V61 Cavern Violin Bass Model


Now in Stock - Beatles fans, here it is.  The Hofner 61 cavern bass, some times referred to as the "revolution bass".  This was Paul McCartney's first Hofner bass.   Hofner's 1961 cavern bass features a flat back, original 61 neck profile, individual rugby ball tuners, 2 diamond logo pickups and of course Cavern pickup Spacing.  Lefty and Righty versions are available.  It's all here.  This is the best 61 reissue Hofner has produced.   Includes Hofner vintage case.  This is a limited edition bass for 2011.  There will only be 20 imported into the USA and it's unclear if Hofner will build any more.  We still have several Left Handed versions on order.
